Folha de Pernambuco
Before digital took the lead, daily print journalism taught fast reporting, clear writing and deadline discipline.

Challenge
Working for a daily newspaper required fast reporting, accuracy, adaptability across very different assignments and production geared toward print deadlines.
Solution
Between 2016 and 2017, I reported stories across different sections and formats at Folha de Pernambuco. This case brings together selected pages as a visual sample of the published work.
Impact
The collection documents an important stage of my professional development and demonstrates hands-on experience in newsroom work, field reporting and daily print publishing.
My role
Reporter and author of the selected stories.
Reporting angles
Daily journalism
Stories produced within the rhythm and deadlines of a daily newsroom.
Field reporting
Assignments based on reporting, interviews and direct contact with sources and subjects.
Print publication
The pages preserve the editorial and visual context in which the stories originally appeared.
